About Me!

What truly excited me about Global Studies was its dynamic, "current day'' perspective. As a student, I never found history particularly captivating, but the chance to engage in lively debates about global issues that unfolded just yesterday ignited my interest. After attending info sessions, the idea that a group of students with unique interests and goals would come together to tackle one topic, exploring it through various global critical issues like the environmental impact and cultural influences, was fascinating.

I am a junior at Watkinson School and am in my first year of the Global Studies Program. Beyond being a student, I am a sister, a friend and a proud dog mom. I grew up in central New Jersey and moved to Connecticut in 2020. My family has and will always be my number one priority as I manage my transition from my teenage years into adulthood. People often describe me as extremely bubbly with a constant smile on my face. I know how lucky I am to have the opportunities I have, and I want to use them to grow into the best version of myself and make a real difference in the peoples lives, around me, in my community, and across the world.
